The cottage itself is all on one level with an open-plan living space. There's a compact kitchen/dining/sitting area with a wood burner and French doors to the garden. The bedroom has a king-size bed and there's a bathroom with shower over bath. Kitchen includes electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Entertainment comes via TV/DVD and CD radio.
Visit Carlisle Castle (10 miles, 20 minutes), explore Lanercost Priory (5 miles, 10 minutes), wander through Talkin Tarn Country Park (3 miles, 8 minutes), or discover the Roman Army Museum (9 miles, 18 minutes).
