The estate sits in a peaceful spot where you might spot deer roaming at dusk if you're quiet enough. Perfect for large family gatherings or groups who want to escape but still have their own space.

The Bannisdale Valley provides a gorgeous backdrop for your Lake District holiday. Each season brings something special - daffodils line the riverbank in spring, gardens burst with colour in summer and autumn paints the landscape gold and red. Winter transforms everything with frost and snow. With private parking for 12 cars and bike storage, it's easy to explore the surrounding countryside on foot, two wheels, or four.

The accommodation includes Riverside Cottage (4 bedrooms), Butterfly Cottage (3 bedrooms) and the cosy one-bedroom Tulip and Lily Cottages. Eight bathrooms mean no morning queues! The cottages feature super-king and king-size beds, with two ground-floor bedrooms that have en-suites. Modern kitchens include range cookers, multiple ovens and fridges - everything needed for cooking up post-hike feasts.

Kendal town is just 5.8 miles away (15 minutes' drive), offering shops, restaurants and the famous Kendal Mint Cake.
