To reach Sala Cottage by car, take the M6 to Junction 40 and follow signs for Penrith. Continue on the A686 towards Alston, then turn off for Edenhall village. The estate entrance is clearly marked and parking is available 100 yards from the cottage.
For rail travellers, Penrith station is less than 4 miles away with direct services to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester and London. From the station, take a short taxi ride to Edenhall Estate where Sala Cottage is located.
