We had such a lovely stay at the cottage! It was spotlessly clean and really well equipped, including a hot tub which was perfect after a busy day. From the moment we arrived, it’s clear so much care and love has gone into this place. We left feeling totally relaxed, refreshedand eager to return. The stunning view, the grandeur of the nearby manorand the peaceful gardens really made it special. Plus, the animals, hot tuband serene surroundings were just perfect. Honestly, it’s like a little slice of heaven. We felt so lucky to stay here; can’t recommend it enough!
James
We stayed at Coachman's Cottage in late January 2024. The place is part of a charming set of three buildings, with the Big House being the old Rectory and the cottage once serving as servant quarters. It’s quite remote, around 17 miles from Penrith, which adds to its cosy, secluded vibe. The cottage is really well looked after, everything works perfectlyand it’s fully equipped. Just a heads up-if you light the log burner, turn down the underfloor heating first, or it gets super warm! Definitely a lovely spot.
Emma
We had a fantastic stay at this lovely cottage! It’s much roomier than the pictures suggest, which was a nice surprise. The view from the hot tub and loungers is simply stunning, perfect for relaxing. The owners are genuinely friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed - we even ended up chatting for ages and exploring the manor. The village nearby is charming and just a short walk away. Overall, a great spot and we’re already thinking of coming back!
Emma
