Scafell Lodge Reviews

Emma
Feels just like being at home, everything we needed was there.
Alex
The lodge was cosy and peaceful, with everything we neededand the hot tub was a bonus!
Alex Morgan
Cozy and well-kept place
Oliver
Honestly, the main sofa is quite low which isn’t ideal for anyone with mobility issues. We also noticed there’s no hand or grab rails to help get in and out of the hot tub, which made things a bit tricky for us. The arrival instructions asked us to hoover to keep pet hair down, but there was no vacuum provided and I couldn’t find any oven gloves when using the oven. Considering how remote the park is and the prices we paid, a small welcome pack with basic essentials like a pint of milk would’ve been nice. It’s a bit disappointing overall.
Emma
Honestly, the place felt a bit cramped and definitely overpriced for what it was. The interior could do with a refresh. On the bright side, the hot tub was fantastic and super private, which we really enjoyed. We had most things we needed, just had to ask for extra towels. The peaceful location near Coniston Water and Beacon Tarn was a real highlight.
Martin Collins
